If you’ve ever wondered what the perfect strain was to pair with a warm, lazy sunlit afternoon followed by ice cream and going nonverbal, you’ve found it. The Gas Face cannabis strain smells funky, grassy, and herb-rubbed. This is a notably sticky cultivar: noble consumers report the buds feeling resinous to the touch and grinding down to softness that’s perfect for rolling.
For our seasoned travelers, Gas Face is for you. Gas Face comes with a consuming, all-encompassing rapture of a very potent high. It is not to be understated – this cultivar is extremely high in THC content, ranging on the low end from 23% to, allegedly, as high as 33%. A quick tip: when consuming anything with levels of THC this high, proceed with caution. In other words, start low and go slow.
The high from Gas Face is fabled, to begin with, laughs and deep conversations, as well as some possible creative or artsy inclinations. As the high moves through you, frequent flyers could end up in a relaxed, contented daze. Many connoisseurs who gravitate to Gas Face embrace it for a good night’s rest. Others report it feeling quite much like an aphrodisiac. In short: your mileage may vary.
There is conjecture about the genetic lineage of the Gas Face cultivar.
Some sources call it a cross between Face Mints, and an offspring of Sherbet and Biscotti genotypes. Another names Gas Face’s parents to be Face Mints and a strain called “Jealousy.” This is to be expected in the modern cannabis industry: after all, folks have been crossing breeds long before legalization. In any case, a living legend named JBreezy, also known as Anthony Hart and Seed Junky Genetics bred most (if not all) of the cultivars (AKA strains) named in this paragraph.
Terpenes you’ll encounter are limonene, caryophyllene, myrcene, and some pinene. These terps harmonize to create a bright, citrus-laden cedar plank smell. Gas Face’s relentlessly “green” aroma is complemented by inescapably sticky trichomes. You might have to wash your hands after rolling up if you’re not using a grinder.
Aside from the plausibly sleepy levels of THC, you’ll find trace amounts of a cannabinoid called Cannabigerol (CBG) in Gas Face. That’s CBG – there’s no CBD in Gas Face. Like CBD, though, CBD isn’t psychoactive and doesn’t get you high independently. It’s sometimes called “the mother of all cannabinoids,” because both THC and CBD are derived from CBGA, or cannabigerolic acid, which is the first cannabinoid to form in a young plant.
Different amounts of different cannabinoids work together with each other uniquely. This alters the psychoactive results of consuming different cannabis strains and products in something called the entourage effect.
